I just started taking a combination pill and still trying to understand how it works to prevent pregnancy. There's 3 lines of the hormone pill and 1 line of pseudo pills. When the pseudo pills begin I will have "a period" but it's not really since there's no real ovulation occurring, right? That marks the end of one month and I start a new pack with the hormone pills. So if the condom breaks during the first week after the bleeding stops, we're still protected since the hormone pills were started on the new pack, correct?
