Endometrin suppository experience?

My doctor just put me on 100 mg of Endometrin (progesterone) vaginal tablets twice daily for the next few weeks. My progesterone was not low (24 at 4 weeks) but due to a previous miscarriage at 12 weeks gestation and two other early miscarriages he had put me on progesterone to be safe. 
I took the vaginal progesterone suppositories (cream ones) during my last pregnancy and hated them. They were messy and caused spotting and caused yeast infection after yeast infection. 
These supplements are the tablets that you put in your vagina. I am wondering if anyone else has used these and can tell me your experience? I will be on them for at least the next 3 weeks so just curious what to be expecting.

Yep I’ve been on one oral progesterone pill in the mornings and one vaginal before bed since I found out I was pregnant. My doctor had me start them the day I got my positive test and I have to continue until I’m 12 weeks… so just two more week to go thank goodness! I definitely dislike the vaginal one. It just feels gross to me but we do what we have to do!

So my personal experience , and I’ve been on them from day one of finding out I’m pregnant and will be on them till 13 weeks . 
1) be ready for discharge . Not only your own discharge but discharge of the actual pill…. For me it’s like chalky and sometimes very moist . So prep with panty liners and “period underwear “ also sometimes it even goes through the pant liner and ends up on my pants 🥲🥲🥲
2) be prepared for brown discharge . Not sure why but my discharge has color to it when taking the progesterone like 7/10 times , it’ll be a brown color . I try not to worry about that because I. Read it’s a common side effect 
3) SOMETIMES it makes me cramp . It’s mild cramping , and did it more in the beginning than it does now at 10 weeks . 
4) if your taking one in morning one at night , don’t beat yourself up if you forget one . I’ve left the house for work and forgot my morning one or sometimes forgotten one at night when falling asleep

Am on 4 a day. Success story of ivf. Got two little ones growing so I guess its two for each of them. Its messy to say the least. They use to  Irritate but that went away. I insert 2 in the morning and 2 at night. 4 more weeks of this am counting down the days but its fir the greater good.

I use Utrogestan 200mg 2x daily, It’s a vaginal capsule. My progesterone wasn’t low either but because of previous miscarriages I wanted to try it. It is a little messy within the first few hours after inserting it but I just wear a liner until it finishes leaking. It’s a bit annoying but it’s not that bad really, definitely worth it in the long run. I’ve still got 4 weeks to go on them, only issue I find is it interrupts your sex life because you can’t have sex after putting it in 🙄 so it’s kind of before 10pm or not at all haha

I would ask for oral since it is a "just in case". That helps from having an intense progesterone spike. Diffuses it a bit. I took mine in the first trimester with my last pregnancy for the same reason but did oral and took it at night. It def caused some night sweats with the extra hormones! I was off it by 12wks tho.

Can you ask for the pill?  I’m on progesterone as well, but I take it orally.

I’m still taking it. It’s fine. For about a week I was itchy literally ON my vagina, but it subsides. It’s not too messy, I put it in at night and don’t really need a panty liner the next day. It’s less discharge than other times of my cycle during the month.
