D&C and IUD help

Hello, I recently got a d&c last 7th Jan. Everything was okay after but I started having pains and huge clots 3 days after. Went back to the hospital and got admitted. I’m home now and was given antibiotics. Seems getting better but I was wondering how long are you supposed to bleed and cramp after the d&c procedure? Also, I might be getting an IUD inserted in the coming weeks, I haven’t had kids but was wondering is is really painful? I’m so scared 😳 Thank you everyone!
