3D ultrasound?

For those of you that have had 3D/4d ultrasounds….would 16 weeks be an ok time to have one done? It’s not available in my little town, but I have appointments in a bigger city at 16 weeks, was thinking of asking for one. But I don’t want to bother if it’s too early to get the full 3D experience at 16 weeks. Thoughts??

This was my son at 15+2 weeks

This is this pregnancy now at 14+5

Here is my 3D ultrasound from my daughter at 16 weeks. So there isn’t much to see as far as details go. We didn’t ask for a 3d, they just put it up for us during my appointment.

I was told by the 3D place that 30 weeks is a good time to go.

What are you looking to see? If you want super detailed facial expressions than yes too early. I just had one done at 16 weeks and I saw his whole body, legs, head, arms and some facial features but it was still hard to get great images.
