Heartburn?

Any mama's out there experiencing heartburn and if so how does it feel like. This is my 3rd baby but my first girl. Yesterday I couldn't sleep because I felt like something was stuck on my chest and it was so uncomfortable. I never experienced this with my previous pregnancies. When I consulted "DR GOOGLE ". it described it as heartburn.  I wanna hear other experiences please?

Pepsid AC works so much better than Tums and is safe for pregnancy!

I feel it almost constantly.I just carry Tums with me everywhere and try not to eat anything acidic or spicy before bed or laying down.

The feeling of something stuck in your throat or chest is most likely acid reflux! I am taking tums but I hear Rolaids work faster !

I had it so bad with my first pregnancy and I’ve had it for a few weeks now with this one. Both girls. Around this time it mostly hits me at night/evening after dinner. And when I’m laying down, it does feel like something is in my throat (doesn’t necessarily burn every time, but it’s there). At some point in my last pregnancy, I would be woken up by throwing up in my mouth a small amount - TMI I know sorry! I told my doctor and it was bad heartburn. She said to take tums before bed and sleep at an incline. Both those things helped the throwing up but I still got the heartburn feeling more and more until I had my daughter. I used to carry tums with me everywhere 😂 Totally went away after birth though! Hang in there!
