I’m highly upset my almost 3 year old goes to daycare very nice daycare. I teach there. She loves it. And I can always go in there and visit her with no issues she goes right back to playing without getting upset. Well this past week any time I go in and visit she gets upset when I leave(unusual) today I went to pick her up and she was weeping, uncontrollably. I was shocked she never cries there. Her teacher said she doesn’t know what’s been upsetting her today but she’s been very emotional. We get in the car and she tells me “(child) hit me and grabs her face). I didn’t see anything on her face at the time till bath tonight. Her whole eye is bruised. I asked what happened again and she said the same child’s name (child hit me) and pointed to her eye. I’m heartbroken and now wondering if she’s been getting upset when I leave. Is a possible for 2 and 1/2 year old to bully? Should I be worried this (child) is hurting her everyday? My daughter I think was to shy to tell her teacher what happened. But I want her to have a voice. I want her to tell her teachers if anyone touches her. I talked to her about it. Besides talking to her teachers, is there anything else I should do? In very upset and can’t even think about my baby girl getting bullied to the point she doesn’t want me leaving when I visit.
