Had our 8 week ultrasound yesterday with our MFM Specialist. Heartbeat of 176 BPM. Went in not too excited, kind of dreading it. Just wanted it over with, but we are a bit more excited. Backstory: We have had a rough year. In September 2020, we had a chemical pregnancy, then fell pregnant again in January 2021, which also ended in a loss (TFMR) five and a half months later. Our baby was diagnosed with Noonan’s Syndrome and was not given a very high likelihood to make it to term. Multiple anomalies. So, just praying we have a healthy little nugget in there. I feel going forward, that every ultrasound will be a little nerve wracking. But will leave with excitement when we have those little pictures in our hands!
