I’m very confused.. I took a first result early response test 8dpo (this past Thursday) & got a very faint positive i took another one that same day which was negative. But i decided to call my OB anyways to schedule an appointment because I’ve had 2 miscarriages (mmc in April & chemical in October) the very next day (Friday) i took a digital test that was negative & went to my OB for blood work the urine test they did for me came back negative at first but he then realized there was a faint positive.

Today I got a call that my hcg level was only 3. I asked him what that meant and he said it’s confusing & that I would need follow up blood work to see the trend. I told him I took a test on Saturday & the line was much darker & took another digital one this morning that came up positive. He said that it’s a good sign that my pregnancy test came back a lot more prominent. I asked him if he was concerned that it was another chemical pregnancy & he said that he’s not because it’s too soon to tell. He believes the pregnancy tests are very sensitive & I might’ve just picked up on my pregnancy very early. After two losses I can’t help but think this is going to be third.. has anyone had experience with a low hcg level beginning of pregnancy with a positive outcome?
