4+4 Weeks Fear of MMC on Progesterone. Help!
Hi Ladies,
I found out a week ago that we’re expecting our double rainbow baby. I’m excited, but also extremely protective of my heart.
Right at 4 weeks I started cramping really bad. I tried laying down and taking Tylenol, but the pain was still really intense. I’ve given birth before and the pain was exactly like contractions (tightening/cramping). I put on a pad and went to sleep assuming a MC was coming. I woke up and was shocked to find no blood.
I had some left over progesterone from my last MC, that I figured couldn’t hurt to take. Within 24 hours the cramps were completely gone and I’ve had zero bleeding.
Should I be concerned that the progesterone is stopping me from passing a non viable pregnancy?
My husband thinks I should stop progesterone and let me body do what it needs to. I on the other hand would prefer to continue progesterone till my first US, where I can see that the baby isn’t viable.
What would you ladies do???
My HCG was 191 at 4 weeks and 612 two days later, so that’s a positive sign.
