My son was born In June of 2020. My husband wants a second baby VERY badly and he wants to start trying now. I also want a second baby, but I kind of feel like we should wait another year. Throughout this past year, our savings account has taken some serious hits and is as low now as it was when we got out of high school. Our cars work for one baby and could probably work for two, but it would definitely be a tight fit. We also rent a small house from my husbands parents. I know that a baby doesn’t need everything under the sun, we didn’t really have that for our first child anyway. BUT, we had talked about using this year to rebuild our savings account, and if I’m pregnant and have morning sickness as bad as I did with baby #1, I can’t really work. My husband has a full time job and I work 2 days a week. (My husband makes enough for us to pay bills but not enough for us to save), and I bring in about $1,000 a month at my job. I have no idea what to do. I do want a second baby but I feel like we should wait.

What would you ladies do?? How did you know you were ready?
