At storytime what does your baby do? 📚

My firstborn loved books, turned pages when I paused and wanted to grab at the pictures. He was definitely learning from reading at a very young age. This baby just wants to teethe on all the board books 😆 Just curious what your babies are doing, I’m looking forward to when this baby gets interested in us

Also to add, we love the indestructible books. Great for chewing and messing around with the pages without worrying about rips or tears

A bit of everything! Gets super excited when I bring the books out, She touches, tries to flip pages (not very good at that one haha) and then eventually tries to eat them (we don’t let her eat books)

Yeah it really depends on what kind of mood he’s in but he does all of the above. We try to read about 4-5 books a day. Sometimes I’ll read my own books to him if he’ll listen. I remember my mom read to me all the time and I’ve always loved reading so hopefully that rubs off on him 🙂

From a very early age everyone commented on how smart my firstborn was, I thought they were just being nice, but over the years I’ve learned he really is exceptional. Hilarious to see that most babes are just teething in books, by this age my first was intently curious about and focused on the contents of various board books, eagerly flipping to the next page whenever I paused in reading. But with intelligence (and early talking) came quite a bit of extra fuss and fight. I’m eager to take a different path with this baby and see where he leads me. I’m still so eager to have storytime with both boys, but in the meantime…💙teethe away little one, teethe away!
