My water or pee?

Today I had an appointment, baby has been quiet most of today, only few big movements. My heart rates been high but BP was good. They almost kept me because of my heart rate and baby not moving as much. My appointment was around 2. I just went to sit down to pee and and something told me to reach down and see if I was leaking (I do this all the time when I go to the bathroom because I am paranoid about not knowing if I am leaking or not). Anyhow, when I reached down my hand instantly got covered in fluid of some sort. I didn’t feel like I had started to pee nor did I even really feel the bad urge to. But the fluid came out. I couldn’t tell if it had any color and I did smell it as I’ve heard it can have a smell sometimes? It didn’t smell like urine, it barely had a smell at all. My doctors is over an hour away so I really don’t want to load up my toddlers and drive all the way up there for nothing. I’ve been watching to see if I feel a gush. Is this normal or could it have been Emmy waters? What the likely good I peed and didn’t even know it?

I haven’t used them, but I THINK a local drug store or pharmacy would have the pH strips they use in the hospital to check if it’s amniotic fluid. Could maybe check if they have any available. Could give you peace of mind one way or another before you make a big drive?

Lol it probably was your water that broke if your unsure just hang around it will come out again in a hour or so. But if so im sure you probably feel contractions by this time. Good luck mama. Praying u have a good delivery.

Could be your waters. Lay down for 30 minutes and then get back up and see if you have another gush
