We had a miscarriage in September. My fiancé is a leukemia survivor with CML who was still undergoing daily treatment (iclusig). He’s been in remission and doing great so we were working with his doctor to try and conceive. They were worried on the effects his meds could have on an unborn baby. We were told to wait 4 weeks, he stopped his meds on Monday. Well, I just found out I’m already pregnant. Does anyone have any experience? I don’t know what to expect. I’m scared of another miscarriage, or if there will be any birth defects.
