How do you store your child’s toys?

I need some inspiration or ideas on how others store their child’s toys.  My kids toys are all over our living room and I don’t know how to make it look neat.   I’ve contemplated keeping all her favs that’s she plays with daily out and putting all the toys that have no space down in our basement but then I have a feeling they will stay down there never to be played with again.  She unfortunately does not have her own room as we live in a tiny condo at the moment so the only place for her toys is our living room.

We have this type of thing in my daughter’s playroom and it’s perfect if your LO is too young to dig to the bottom of a toy box to find what she wants. They can see most of the toys and you can organize the bins by type. Also the bins come down to be put on the floor easily which make them ideal or things like blocks or puzzles, etc. Also comes with the hardware to secure it to the wall for safety.

I have one of these, a toy box for bigger toys and a cubicle shelf you can leave open or put fabric cubbies in. The rest I try to line up nicely along her walls if she's not playing with it

I had boxes for everything it's the easiest and fastest way to tidy things up and the kids can learn how to tidy up their stuff quiet early. If you have a lot of toys try to dtore some in the basement and then swap them out after a while they will be more interesting again.

We have a wide storage box for all the toys, then her favorite bears/dolls sit on her bed or her dresser.

Ya definitely get some kind of toy box. I have her toys she doesn’t play with much in a toy box in her room, but most of the toys she plays with are in the living room since that’s where she plays mostly. I want to get another toy box for out here tho. They are just on a table in the corner and I hate it it looks so messy. We put them on the table every night to kind of clean up a bit but still I don’t like them out!
