What are the best options?

I am 3 weeks PP and want something long lasting. We are pretty sure we're done having kids. Hubby will be getting a vasectomy at some point, but I need something until then and I want to have a decision made before my check-up Feb 14th. I am not nursing and haven't been on the pill for 10 years, so I don't know how my body will react to anything. Thank you in advance.

Honestly, just use condoms. The pill messes with your body and mental health and then the implanted stuff can shift or not work..one of the girls I worked with ended up with an ectopic pregnancy with twins after having one of the implants and had to abort it because of the risks.

I’m a huge fan of the mirena! Just got my second one. Good for 5 years and for me; I don’t have a period while I have it.

Arm implant or IUDs are more long term & most effective. But, other methods like the pill, patch, and vaginal ring are good effective options as well, granted they’re used properly.
