It happens. It can be from mastitis but I assume you’d know if you had mastitis. It can also happen from a totally benign growth in your milk duct called a papilloma. I had it happen every once in a while.

In the pic you can see it’s hardly anything in there and that was about two days of pumping. Used the momcozy and hand expressed because I went back to work and I had no time to just SIT and pump. I work at a daycare w two year olds. Btw I didn’t stick to a steady schedule (terrible. I know) I just really would like some kind of support and answers because it freaked me out and idk what to do on a Sunday night. Nipples aren’t cracked or anything. The blood was IN my milk. Didn’t hurt either.
