I have one baby who will be 1 in a month. Me & my husband go back and forth on having baby #2 or waiting 8-10 yrs. The reason is I am currently working on my associates at the moment and hope to get my bachelors degree next then med school to become a Pediatrician. We want to have another soon because we want our kids close , we want to be able to give his grandparents the time to know and be in their great grandchildren life! Now a reason why we’d wait until after residency would be because I know med school is difficult and time consuming so would I be able to have time with my husband and daughter let alone another child? Would I be able to enjoy my time with them (probably not a lot of time). Also another reason why we’d wait is to give our daughter her time alone with just the 3 of us but that would mean her and her sibling would be 8+ yrs apart. There’s just so much back and forth when it comes to wanting another baby.
