I thought I would never make it through the pain and the struggles. I legit cried every time I had to latch my son and thought about quitting EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I’m so glad I pushed through and didn’t quit. At almost 3 months old little man is nursing for 10-15 minutes each session and it doesn’t hurt at all anymore. I’m much more confident and comfortable. Hang in there mama, it WILL get better ❤️

I’m almost 9 months in and it’s more like second nature for me now. It’s part of the routine, and my baby is only nursing from 5-10 minutes a session.

Nursing my first was terrible until maybe 3 or 4 months. But then she ended up nursing until toddlerhood without taking a bottle. My second never had a bottle in her life because breastfeeding was so much easier at that point. It’s really really hard at first though I cried all the time.

I thought I was doing it wrong for a long time because it hurt and everything I read said it shouldn’t hurt but other moms I talked to said it always hurts at the beginning. I’m 2 months pp now and it doesn’t hurt unless baby bites. She still nurses for long times but I enjoy it a lot more and love the bonding time.

Honestly it didn’t get easier for me until like 10 or 11 months when I started nursing him less frequently.
