Owlet SMART sock?

Question

Is there anything on the market comparable to the old smart sock, which monitored heart rate and oxygen?
I’ve learned that the new sock, the “dream” sock, does not monitor oxygen or notify you of any changes in your babes vitals. That thing saved my sanity with my first, wondering how I’ll survive parenthood this time around without it haha

If you have the old one still does it work? I have the old one and I just hooked it back up, still had the app and it looks to me like it will still monitor heart rate and oxygen on the app but maybe I’m wrong.

You can try the sense-U if you don’t have the old app on your phone or sock. Just pulled out my owlet sock 2 and updated the app(thankfully I still had it on my phone) and it looks like it’ll still work. I don’t think their new sock measures heart rate and oxygen due to the letter they got from FDA

I just bought the owlet sock plus through buybuybaby.com as they are still selling it temporarily. I had the original owlet as well with my now 2 year old when he was born but most of the socks are pretty worn out. So I rushed and bought the one through buy buy baby as I know I will need it for my sanity.. Good luck!

In light of the changes with the Owlet sock, I bought something called the Snuza. It’s not an oxygen monitor, but it does monitor the baby’s breathing and will stimulate the baby to rouse if there’s no movement after 15 seconds. After 20 seconds, there is an audible alarm. It clips onto the baby’s diaper. Do your research and see if that will be a good substitute?
