I was prescribed birth control pills and told to take them 3 packs at a time (skip the placebo weeks on first 2 packs so I only get a period once every 3 months/packs). Has anyone else done this before? I've been doing this for 6 months but still get spotting every pack during the "placebo week" even while continuing to take active pills. I feel like 6 months in my body should be adjusted by now ?

For reference, I was prescribed them to help manage endometriosis.
