Test orrrrr wait

So a last week I had some spotting (not enough to fill a pad but just enough to wear a liner...) It went on for a day and a half, and then stopped. I don't know exactly when I ovulated (Glow said 6-9) . I'm at a loss of that was my period or ov. spotting or implantation spotting or spotting... Anyway I am supposed to start my period to so I'm hesitant to test.........(4 years of trying will do that) what do y'all think? Should I wait a couple more days? Or just test!?

(No symptoms at all..)
