Is this a crazy amount for newborn photos????

I live near Atlanta, GA, so big city...I reached out to a newborn photographer whose work I like about doing a sibling session with my newborn and my 2-year-old...she charges $250 for a 2 hour session that will include photos of the baby, a few sibling photos, and a few family photos...she will then create an online gallery of 60 photos total. That seemed very reasonable, but it doesn't include any photos. The photos are purchased separately, either $750 for 15 digital downloads or $900 for all 60 images...so I am looking at $1000 for 15 images or $1150 for all 60 images.

Is it insane to spend that much? I know photographing newborns is a skill and it has to be done safely and getting a 2-year-old to cooperate can be tricky...so she has her work cut out but it's still a lot of money...I'm on the fence. Help me out ladies!!
