Have you eaten your placenta before?

For those of you who were pregnant, did you eat your placenta after birth? If so, why?

Animals do this to get rid of it so the scent doesn’t attract predators...nothing to do with “health benefits.” Its a literal organ. Would you ingest any other organ from your own body? It’s a big no from me.

Nope. There are no proven medical benefits and a few proven risks so I was not gonna go that way. I know some people do and more power to them but ad this point there is no reason to so I passed both times.

I’ve never had kids but i saw child birth before, there is no way i would ever consider doing that 🤢

No. It immediately starts to die after delivery. Would you eat another organ of yours? 🤮

I wanted to do encapsulation but ended up with an infection so I couldn't😒
