Anyone else having headaches first week post partum?

I don’t remember headaches being an issue the last two times but this time I’ve had a headache each day, not terrible just a light on and off headache. But I woke up from a nap today 5 days pp and my head is throbbing 😭. I’ve been drinking water all week so I don’t think I’m dehydrated but man it hurts 😩

I had terrible headaches the first week or so postpartum. I think for me, it was related to a combination of lack of sleep, dehydration and hormones. I always get bad headaches when I have my period so I know hormonal changes make me prone to them. I loaded up on Tylenol for a few days and drank a ton of Gatorade.

Hey mamas! It could also be a sign of postpartum hypertension. I had perfect blood pressures all through my pregnancy, and after delivery it nearly doubled. No kidding. I ended up in the ER and now I’m taking meds twice a day. Just a word of caution- check your bp to be sure….

Meeee!!! I gave birth 3 weeks ago and I’ve been having on and off mild headaches pretty consistently since. The other day I had one so bad it was throbbing like a migraine. It went away but this morning I woke up with a really sore neck. Maybe hormones and from breastfeeding and being a little dehydrated? This didn’t happen to me with my first.

I haven’t had one this time, but I’m pretty sure I had headaches with my last. Likely hormone related— I’ve been having night sweats.
If your concerned, reach out to your Obgyn to be sure it isn’t something to be concerned with.

Heading into day 22 of a migraine throbbing in my neck, eyes, jaw, ears and everywhere else. I also have a brain malformation and been worried but my new GP isn’t worried so waiting to see my neurologist. Did you have an epidural? If so get checked it could be a dura puncture, could be hormones etc so many causes
