Hip, shin ankle pain

Ever since I weaned my youngest almost a year ago I have been suffering with pain in the outside of my hips, shins and ankles on both legs. Dr is useless and just says it’s from carrying the baby up and down stairs.., any suggestions it’s so painful sometime when I walk and also at night especially with when I sleep on my side
