My two year old has enlarged tonsils and needs to have them removed. Our surgeon is supposed to be the best of the best and I trust him very much but I am a WRECK thinking about my baby with IVs and pain medication and being intubated and being put to sleep etc etc. He’s just going to be so scared and so confused 🥺 because of his age we’ll also have to stay in the hospital for 1 to 3 nights depending on how he’s recovering.

Doctor also said that enlarged tonsils could cause brain development issues which makes me even more of a nervous wreck. My little boy is a normal, and in my opinion, intelligent 2 year old but now I feel like he’s had brain development issues 😭
