Well if you haven’t gotten a period yet I say I have o yet which means yes there is a chance 
Sadly without trying opk every day u won’t know 
If you are ttc I would say do it every other day so u don’t miss ur chance….

You'll often still ovulate with a long cycle, but usually later in your cycle. Mine varies between 28-41 days, when I used opk I got my peak on cd20 and I'm now 29 weeks pregnant. A long cycle doesn't necessarily mean you don't ovulate or can't conceive.
