My beautiful baby boy finally made his arrival! I was set for induction Monday the 17th at 40weeks+4. I woke up late Sunday night having contractions DURING a snow storm. We made it to the hospital around 5:40am. When I finally got called back & checked I was 8cm & my water broke shortly after naturally. I didn’t have any back labor with my first but this time I did and it was HORRIBLE. I got admitted & got my epidural pretty quickly. My doctor switched off days with another co-worker so he wasn’t able to deliver my baby. During delivery I couldn’t get past his head, his shoulders were to wide/big for me to deliver. The doctor told nurse to hit the “code blue” button & everyone started rushing in. He was stuck for a minute & twenty seconds which seemed like a life time. They were pulling at his neck/head to try to pull him out. My fiancé was scared, crying, & the only thing I was focused on was pushing to “help” them get him out. I never ripped nor tarred & no stitches. They finally were able to get him and he weighed 8lb 14oz 21in long @ 10:58am. He was blue when he came out &

had to have a little bit of oxygen & got some bruising from delivery & they wanted to X-ray his shoulder just to be safe, they ended up not doing it bc his motor skills were perfect & they heard no “clicking” I had him Sunday January 16 and we were home around 2:30 on Monday. We’re both doing amazing! I can’t believe he’s already over a week old 😭
