Anyone else’s baby constantly wanting to be latched on?

Baby is 2 days old and milk just came in. All he wants is to be nursing, won’t sleep otherwise. I am extremely drained.

My daughter just did this, until my milk really came in. Around day 3-4 I started to get engorged and she started sleeping better. The colostrum doesn’t seem to fill their little tummies for long.

Day 3 and 4 were the worst but by day 7 and 8 I found it to get easier

Latching will help your supply, but also their bellies are super small and breast milk burns off quicker so they'll eat more than a formula fed baby. You're not doing anything wrong if that's where your head is right now 😊

Yep, my daughter did that on day 3 and is doing it again on day 5. Cluster feeding is normal for newborn development, but it is really hard on mom, hang in there.
