I had a normal ultrasound to check baby’s size at 37.4W and they sent me to the hospital for low fluid. Ended up being induced and by procedure the hospital tested me for Covid and I somehow was positive. Unvaxed and 0 symptoms. Baby was born 5.2 lb and they took him to the nicu for his size but everything else is fine. It’s been almost 24 hours and they’re still keeping him to “observe”. They won’t release him up to me since I’m in a Covid area and my doctor won’t release me for at least 48 hours although I am totally fine, had the best vaginal delivery a girl could dream of. Not allowed any visitors, not even dad. I can only watch the baby from a camera on my phone. I am having a hard freakin time.
