Will a newborn tell if something’s wrong? I’m a new mom and I feel like I’m doing something wrong I don’t know.

Not at all. They cry when they need something and you have to troubleshoot what it is. Diaper change, burped, fed, tired etc. It’s hard in the beginning but you will get used to their cues and routine which makes things easier! It’s a learning curve but you’ll learn each other quickly, just take things day by day! You’ll do fine 😊

None of us know what we’re doing at first. Your newborn won’t judge you. Just make sure they are getting their basic needs met and are not neglected and you’ll do fine.

Newborns are fairly easy, in my opinion. The exhaustion is what makes that stage hard, so definitely sleep as much as you can.
But a newborn will cry whenever something is wrong. All they do at this stage, really, is eat, sleep, poop, and cry. If a newborn is crying, it’ll be for a reason. That reason may not always be obvious, but remember that the world is bright and cold and new and scary. All they’ve known their entire life is the comfort and warmth of your womb, where they never experienced gas or hunger. I remember it feeling like he just wanted to be held and touching me all the time.
You’re doing great - just snuggle that baby. As long as they’re healthy, you’re doing everything right.
