Has anyone ever gotten a lump under your armpit?

I just discovered a lump underneath my armpit. It’s kinda painful but only when you touch it. Should I be worried?

I ended up with a smallish lump in my armpit after getting the covid vaccine. It was sore and went away within a week.
My sister got a boil on her armpit from an old razor and had to get it lanced and drained 🤮 it caused her a lot of pain. It wouldn't hurt to get it looked at to at least bring you some peace of mind.

What kind of lump? How big is it? Is it on the surface or underneath? If it’s smaller on the surface of your skin-probably an ingrown. If it’s like a ball under your skin-it might be a cyst or swollen lymph node-but also your breast tissue does extend to your armpit and they tell you to check for there too when your doing self breast exams.

I’ve had one for years, I’ve had it looked at multiple times and it’s actually breast tissue! What a surprise when I had my son and my armpit was wet from milk! Our bodies are weird

I had a swollen lymph node after my second covid shot. Hurt like a b!tch. But it went away after a couple days.

Did you get the Covid vaccine recently? It could be from that.
