Positive for Covid at 22 weeks

Hello I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant and tested positive for covid on Tuesday. I have mild symptoms no taste or smell, congested and a cough for the most part. I been taking Tylenol and something to help break up the mucus that my Ob said it was okay for me to take. My question is if you tested positive for covid during pregnancy do you have to be more closely watched. I also recently got word that I have the pregnancy diabetes which I had with my second daughter. So I know with that I will have to be watched more closely anyway. I also had the covid vaccines so I’m fully vaccinated since September 2021.

I’m sure your OB would have said you’d have to be closely watched if you did. If your symptoms stay the same I’m sure the dr will just keep you on a regular schedule unless the symptoms change.

currently 26 weeks & just got rid of covid. i’m unvaccinated (getting my first shot tomorrow) & informed my ob, i wasn’t more closely watched. i was given a list of medicine that i can take & was told to keep my fluids up. baby is still active as ever and perfectly fine, so i don’t think you’ll have much to worry about
