I was on BC (the pill) for years. I suddenly stopped having my period from February - September 2021 and the gyn said it’s completely normal for people on the pill…it had never happened to me. I bleed normally September - November 2021, I stopped taking BC very beginning December because I’m TTC. Had a normal period in December and nothing since. So I’m on cycle day 43 right now which is totally not normal for me on or off birth control.

I’m making an appointment at another OBGYN to discuss but anyone have anything similar happen?

The previous GYN, that said it was normal to have “birth control amenorrhea,” also said that once you stop taking the pill, everything should fall into place rather quickly. Which is also what I’ve read online from several sources.
