Proper Hygiene

Hi everyone.

I’ve had a rough childhood parent wise and i’ve never really been taught how to properly wash clean and shave my vagina. I’m 16 btw. Last time i tried to clean it i used soap and it burnt and when i tried to shave i had TERRIBLE razor burn. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help me clean and shave properly? thank you.
