Unexpected heavy start
I’m not due for my period for 3 days and I’m currently recovering from Covid (been sick the last 2 weeks). I’ve heard rumors that after having Covid, your period is supposed to be extreme because Covid is a blood disease (I can’t remember the actual medical term), and that has a big effect on the body. I’m a pretty heavy bleeder in the beginning and my cramps can get bad, but when Im JUST starting, I usually catch it the second it flows. I’ve been on edge about starting because of this rumor, and I honestly thought I’d be super late DUE to being so sick. I was just casually sitting on my bed, and I felt this gush. I thought it was a bit of discharge, and I disregarded it, thinking I was going to get up in a minuet and clean up. It wasn’t until the 2nd giant gush 5 seconds after that it clicked in my head what was happening, and I jumped from my bed into the bathroom. It was a mess, it’s never a mess.
This is just a warning for everyone suffering with Covid (it varies person to person as well). Just be prepared for anything when it comes to your next period after/during recovery ❤️
