The curiosity in me of using an ovulation test as a pregnancy test..

Okay, so I know I've seen women on here say that you cannot use a ovulation test as a pregnancy test. However, how is it that an online article is saying otherwise? It is saying that LH and HCG are molecularly similar in a way and may give a positive result? So I wonder then if the whole "Test line has to be darker then the control line" scenario applies when trying to use the test as a pregnancy.

Obviously, this is a Dollar Tree brand ovulation test and I am only using it for the curiosity in me being that I already ovulated on the 24th because of extreme cramps and a very positive test. I do have 2 pregnancy tests at home just incase AG doesn't show up.

**So my question is, do you think the whole test line needs to be darker then the control line scenario applies when seeing a positive on this test for pregnancy?**
