Can anyone give me a quick run down on how to track ovulation? 🥴

I had a mc in October. We are currently ttc again, but my periods have been a little weird since losing the baby so I’m starting to wonder if my ovulation is off. Normally I just use this app and that’s what landed me pregnant last time. I tracked my ovulation once in my life and that was in 2018 and I actually got pregnant with my son the month I tracked it. I just ordered some ovulation tests just to see if I’m ovulating when the app says I am (I know the app is just a guess based off of your cycle) but I can’t remember exactly when I’m supposed to start testing?

I used opks between cycle day 11-14. After months and months I then knew I would ovulate between cycle day 18 to 21.  Opks give to a general idea. They can be overwhelming because you have to have concentrated urine for correct results.  Use first morning urine! When you start  getting flashy smile face you are in your fertile window. Now test twice a day.  Drink water up until 11 am.  Do not pee again until 230 300. Your results will give you an accurate response that way. You could be flashing that morning and get your solid smiley face that night.

Sorry for your loss 💕 I personally start testing a few days before my expected ovulation day so I can have a baseline for the test strips to see if/how they get darker. Today for example is my Cycle Day (CD) 10 so if you have a normal 28-30 day cycle your window would probably CD14-16 so I would start testing CD 10 for your baseline and with the cheapies you can get online, so you don’t break the bank. Once the test line overtakes the control line in darkness, you’re in business! So don’t stop testing until you’ve seen the increase to this point and the decrease after. I use both this app and the Femometer app/strips to record my peak for ovulation.  
My cycles are on the longer side and my MC was early December and I usually ovulate on the later side so I also start testing CD10 but I take a test every other day until I see my lines starting to get darker. You can also track your Body Basal Temperature (BBT), and do this as soon as you wake up in the morning and before getting out of bed. This will also give you an indication of your peak. I personally have tried this but I’ve forgotten to take temp so many times or accidentally got out of bed, that it wasn’t very conducive so I stick with testing 😅 let me know if you any questions & Baby Dust to you 💕💕✨✨

Depending but for me I start using OPKS like 4 -5 days after my period ends because I ovulate late in my cycle. I also like to use the clean blue advanced digital OPKS, I know they are more expensive but I like how it shows a smiley face rather the lines, never seconding guessing it

I start right after my period ends bc I have ovulated early in my cycle before. I downloaded the Premom app and take pictures of the test strip it will help with seeing the increase. I use a digital on the day the Premom app says is my peak just to verify with the digital.
