Booked for Tuesday but they will ring me in the morning with a time. Is this the norm?

Reading horror stories that there are never any beds and you have to wait days even though you are booked for that day.

I’ll be 41+5 and don’t want to go too over as it’s dangerous 😢 I’m getting really worked up and upset right now. No wonder it’s not happening naturally my anxiety is through the roof.
