I had my baby Jan 4th whom I've been waiting for a little over 6 years. Well on his 2 week appointment my son was on his 4th day of having watery poop. Which i thought was diarrhea but was told by the pediatrician it's not diarrhea it's normal and that it would go away in a couple of days. I've been breastfeeding since day 1. But would give formula if i new he didn't get full, which was not often, non if possible. I was trying to strictly breastfeed only. Well today is the 11th day with him having water poop which has caused him to have a raw bum. He will literally got through 20 diapers a day or more because the slightest fart he will poop. He don't even have to fart nor push he'll have poop dripping. I called his pediatrician 2 days ago and was advise to give it a couple of days. I called again today but was told they'd call me back. I called at 9am and didn't receive a call. So im thinking he could be lactose intolerant and since it's mostly breast milk he takes i feel i am the cause of this 😞 and i have decided to no longer breastfeed to see if that is the cause. I bought formula for lactose sensitivity. I wasn't able to breastfeed for long with my other 2 children that i had high hopes with this one to breastfeed for the long run. But if this helps my son then i will do it for him.
