Has your baby/toddler ever fallen from a height and hit their head on a hard surface?

Actually the worse one my baby a toddler did... she was 2 1/2 and he was 10months.. they both stood up in the double pram at the same time in the supermarket. I scanned there nappy for 2 seconds at the selfcheckout with the pram right next to me. It happened so fast. The pram tipped right over and my with him gtn the worst of it falling face first on to the hard supermarket floor!!! She managed to stop the brunt by puttn her hands up baby boy wasnt so lucky. Huge egg on his head. Whipped my tit out then and there and sat on the floor consoling him while they got some peas for his head. A tit settled him. She was good. Took him to the drs and was fine just a nasty bruise. Kids are so damn quick!!! He was fine by the time at the drs and thought everythin was funny as hell. 🙄 also the graze on his chin was from the day before when he tripped and fell on the carpet. This boy was always a worry.

My newborn:( fell from a very small height of our couch onto the floor (hardwood) I can’t get that memory out of my brain. I felt like the worst mom for 2 months after that. I actually almost fell into a depression I couldn’t think or eat properly. But everyone makes mistakes. And that helped me get past it

Yes it's the worst!! It's happened a couple times...mostly during while she was still not walking but could pull herself up. Luckily she seems fine over a year later 🤣 
It's usually a good sign if they cry right away and are consolable.

She fell off sofa and got a small bruise on her forehead but surprisingly easy to console. O also dropped quite a heavy toy from about thigh height down om her head when she was on the floor which felt like it should have hurt a lot but she was hardly bothered and after the initial screaming calmed right down and not even a bruise. Thank God!

My toddler falls all the time, she seriously needs to be wrapped in bubble wrap...
She fell off the couch at my moms and gave herself a forehead bruise...this isn't really anything to do with falling of something and hitting their head but... when she was 14 months old we were standing on the back deck, my dog whose 150 pounds came out of fucking no where and i swear she flew like 5 feet and bruised her chin really bad. She was petrified of the back deck for months.. I felt so bad but like one minute my dog was in the yard and next he came out of fucking no where and he didn't mean to, he heard my dad pull in in the front (I had no idea my dad was coming) and my dog went full fucking horse mode to run inside the house and clipped her on the way in.. my dog felt horrible he laid right down next to her licking her... to say the least, My dog and I were both cautious after that

My baby is 5 months old and has fell off the couch but luckily landed on a pile of blankets so she didn’t cry, but my toddler nieces and nephews? Holy crap, they fall regularly😂 my 1 y/o niece ran as fast as she could into the baby gate and gave herself a bloody nose, a huge bump and then was taken to the doctor because she wouldn’t/couldn’t look to either side and had whiplash. Between the 5 of them, they have fell down stairs, out of shopping carts, highchairs, off counters, decided to jump head first off the back of the couch, you name it. Toddlers are wild but pretty dang tough!

My son at 6 mos fell out of my lifted truck from the back seat. He landed in a sitting position and I’ve never felt more horrible in my life. He cried but cheered up once he got distracted by something else. I never let him play in the truck now unbuckled. He also fell off the back of the couch head first at 1. He got a big bump on his forehead but was fine.

Yes, my daughter fell off our bed onto our porcelain title. It was terrible... I cried while soothing her. She was fine though! No visible injuries and her temperament did not change.
