Which spelling for Baby Girl?

Hubby wants to use the Spanish pronunciation (Eee-li-ah-nah) but use the (I) for the spelling. What do you think? Middle name is Emilia

If you’re amongst primarily American English speaking folks, Iliana will get you closer to that pronunciation though it will likely sound more like Ill-ee-awna. Eliana will probably sound more like Ellie-awna. All of this before you correct them of course.

With that pronunciation, Iliana is definitely a better fit. People still might still say it wrong (ih instead of eee), but some will say it right, and anyway it makes sense so it’s an easy fix.
Eliana just seems like not a fit at all for that pronunciation. It looks like it should be EL instead of Eee, and I think people would have a hard time editing that assumption to say it the way you want. 
I think you’ll need to take the poll results with a grain of salt, because I bet a lot of people are just voting for which they like better (the more common name) and missed the point about trying to match a specific pronunciation.
