Husband and I have these friends, before our daughter was here we gave them aunt and uncle title, daughter is now here has been for 4 months almost 5 and they are making no steps to see her or ask about her or even remotely act like aunt and uncle. We totally messed up giving them this title and now we’re so lost. We’ve debated on introducing them to her just using their first name without aunt and uncle? Suggestions? Have you ever done this?

In my life I’ve had people introduced to me as aunt and uncle and then they’ve left or they just don’t contact me and I’m not having my daughter feeling the way I have/currently do.
