My boyfriend and I have been in a relationship for 5 month, we are “older” and we’ve discussed marriage and having more kids (together) at some point. So we are very serious, but still taking it slowly because we both have kids from previous relationships. I’ve been thinking about Valentine’s gifts, he says he has something special planned, and I’ve been kind of stuck in what to get him. So today I had the idea of giving him a sweet card with a copy of my house keys, and emptying one of my drawers and filling it with some things for him to keep at my house (sweatpants, boxers, t-shirts), since he’s been staying over quite often.

What do you think, is this cute or too much at this point?

EDIT: My daughter lives with me full time, they haven’t met in person yet but talk on the phone every day. The key I’d give him wouldn’t be a “move in with me” sign, more of a you’re welcome anytime and I’m ready for you to meet my child. I know he’s probably not ever gonna use it until we live together, it’s more of a symbol
