Last Tuesday we will be at 19 weeks! But not without some difficulty. On Sunday the 16th - right before our 17th week - I had a major bleeding scare. I lost about a gallon of blood and was rushed to the hospital. Upon our arrival we found out the baby and placenta were healthy and intact. My cervix was also closed. But I continued to bleed so I was admitted to the hospital to find out why. Come to find I have a polyp in between my cervix and uterus that caused a subchronic hemorrhage. They don’t want to take it out until after delivery. So, have to limit stress on my pelvic area for the next 22 weeks.

We’ve been blessed to have a community who supports us and has been there thru these rough few days. But I can’t help but worry.

We’re wondering if anyone else has experienced a scare like this? How did you stay sane? Any advice?
