Breastfeeding past one
Everyone asks me “wow how old is she?” Shes a year and two months..
Or “when are you going to stop? She’s basically a toddler”
Why? My daughter nurses 3 times a day and about 3/4 times a night still but we are working on that part lol
I nurse her for naps and bed time
It’s what she is used to. I personally don’t know how she’d act is she didn’t nurse to bed she probably would not go to bed.
So I’m just like why? It took me a good 7 months to finally get the hang fully on breastfeeding. By 10 months old I got rid of the formula I was substituting to help with my low supply after trying EVERYTHING.
Now I nurse without needed help. I don’t pump personally my body does not respond to a pump and I can’t freeze my milk anyways.
Once she started good on solids and her bottles went down in ounces I was able to finally just nurse her and her get enough, and to this day I don’t think she’s ready to wean but I’m so tired of people telling me how I’m ruining her or how it’s harder to wean when she’s older and I’m just like y’all don’t even breastfeed y’all never breastfed so how are you going to say this?
Does anyone else still breastfeed after one?
It’s not like she’s at the breast every 2 hours
