Should I start birth control?

So I’m 15 and i recently lost my virginity to my current bf. Sense I’m sexually actively I figured birth control would be a good decision but I’m definitely contemplating it because we have broken 3 condoms during sex and I cannot risk getting pregnant. I’m only still debating it because of the side effects. Also I don’t know how to get it because I know my parents wouldn’t allow it. Any suggestions?

At your age I honestly wouldn't really look into what side effects it would give me. That's just my opinion though. I think I rather stick to side effects (depending) then having a baby. Not to mention I got pregnant at age 15, it's hard girly. So definitely look into getting on birth control. Plan parenthood keeps everything confidential!! If one birth cortnik method doesn't work u can always try another one! 💕

Just tell them it’s for your periods. Depending on your location you could probably just go to your gyno by yourself.

Definitely look into birth control. Sometimes it can have unpleasant side effects especially at first, but your body may just need time to adjust or maybe a different type would be better. Please speak to your doctor about it or go to planned parenthood. Taking care of yourself is so important. I would also continue to use condoms in the meantime until you get on BC (and after if you and your partner haven't had recent STI screening). Sounds like you two are either not using them correctly or are using the wrong ones if they are breaking so often - that is not normal.
