So I have been talking to this guy, (we met on a dating app) and we were talking for a bit on the app and then he asked me what I was looking for, I told him I wasnt sure (because I dont want to be like I want a bf straight out and dating apps are usually just because im bored and want to talk to people). He responded and said he is looking for something serious and he knows dating apps aren't the best place to look but covid kinda messed dating up. Anyways, I responded and told him I want a relationship eventually but I want to build a friendship first and he said he completely agreed and then asked if we could text or message on another app so we could have a better conversation because it would take him like 10+ hrs to reply. I understand he doesnt owe me anything because we dont even know each other but like i'm just curious. I dont want to keep having a conversation that goes nowhere. It's been ab 2 weeks that we've been talking on the app and texting.

So now we're texting and his reply's have been like 10+ hrs apart again, occasionally I get messaged back like 20mins, 1 hr, 5 hrs later but like he messages me back with a lengthy message and is always asking me questions. We seem to have quite a bit in common, but like I feel the long ass time it takes him to message back makes it seem like he doesnt care ab our conversation or like isnt interested. He seems super sweet too so im like simpin kind of 😭. Am I thinking too deeply into this or is there some validation to this? Help please! 😅
