Mad or cheating?

My husband is out of town. He cheated about 2 years ago, refuses to have remorse about it. I mentioned in a phone call last night I feel like he’s acting strange and now he refuses to talk to me. Says he is tired of me accusing him of cheating when he’s not. My friends said I should give him the same treatment back by ignoring his messages and calls (which he’s sent none). But it seating away at me wondering if he really is cheating and him not contacting me proves that. Could it be that he’s just mad and is trying to cool off? The fight was last night and we haven’t talked all day. Could this be some cruel punishment for me not trusting him? Or is he more than likely cheating again?

The problem is you forgave him and he had/has zero remorse. He knows he can do anything he wants to and you will not leave.

It sounds like you should be the one who’s mad here. Whether he’s cheating now or not, he cheated previously and felt no remorse, so I’d bet he has or will cheat again 100%. The real question is do you want to stay married to a chronic cheater?

Why would you forgive someone who doesn’t feel bad for hurting you and betraying your trust? It’s clear your husband will not change. Especially if he has no reason to considering you took him back and when he didn’t even have to do the bare minimum, which was to AT LEAST be sorry. Either you leave him and find better or accept the fact that this is just who he is and likely will be for the rest of your time together. If he wanted to treat you better he would’ve.

If you can’t tell the difference between your partner needing some space and your partner being out cheating, that is a major problem. The two of you should not even be together. Staying in a relationship with someone you can’t trust is very unhealthy for everyone involved. A person who is not worthy of your trust is not worthy of you.

Fool me twice, shame on me.”… the fool me twice part is when you kept calling him your husband after he never expressed feeling any remorse… beyond that moment where you decided to stay with him nothing he says or does that makes him a bad partner should surprise you.

Definitely cheating. you gave him an excuse not to talk to you. And he literally doesn’t care, he knows he has you wrapped up. You could probably leave and he wouldn’t care either. You deserve better. Move on, he’s trash.

Tbh you will never know. The only thing u can do is  three things. 
 1.) You can make a request for location sharing and that he does commit to putting your mind to rest by checking in on you daily. If u make the request and he honors it u xan at least be at peace that he is showing he does care about making u comfortable.  
   2. couples therapy or individual therapy. U chose to stay so now u gonna have to both work together to give u peace of mind as well as u learning to let the past be in the past so it don’t contaminate the present and future. 
     3.) Make sure you have both feet on the ground. Wht would u do if he did cheat? Are u financially stable alone? Have u been working on your life  such as career, finances, health and mental health, appearance and feeling good about yourself! You should make sure your life is so full that if he was cheating you can still go on! Husbands are the icing…. Not the cake! Take care of yourself! Take care of you! And also get into therapy or marriage counceling because us women are not always right and sometimes need guidance to bring us back!
