Do I need an ultrasound?

Danielle

Here’s my story

November 2021 had many positives one night that went negative the next and that was it. So chemical. Day before thanksgiving ER confirmed with ultrasound and by telling them what had happened. But, my hcg never went above a 3. And only had faint positives that one night with hpt.

Fast forward to now. We stopped trying for now and I stopped tracking for the most part. But, I know the only days we had unprotected sex was on 1/10 and 1/11/2022 cause we were out of condoms and we’re just like 🤷‍♀️.

I was due for AF around the 21st or 22nd. Had a bleed in early December with the m/c and then a normal period that started 12/24.

21 and 22 come along and no sign of AF. So started testing on the 23rd and tested positive with a faint on the 26th. The positive disappear several times for several days. I usually test positive only after like 8:30pm for some reason. And since then, I’ve had good lines (still considered faint though) and no lines. The last two days have been very faint.

I have blood work scheduled for Thursday this week and had blood work Friday last week with my normal result of 3. I’m going to the hospital for bloodwork. Should I have my dr order an ultrasound too? If this is a chemical/miscarriage, I haven’t bled a drop yet or cramped up. Like before.

I’m going crazy wondering if hcg just doesn’t really show up in my bloodwork. I’ve read some stories about it. I just want to catch this quick. I had gone back on all my psych meds and stimulants for narcolepsy. So I can’t be on those pregnant. I took myself off all, but I’m weaning myself off the cymbalta as it’ll make me sick. So I’m on 60mg dropping to 30mg tomorrow from 90mg until I know if I’m pregnant or miscarried.

Has anyone had a similar situation and ended up with a healthy baby? Or should I consider this pregnancy over? Has anyone had low to no hcg, but was pregnant with a healthy pregnancy?

I still “feel pregnant” if you know what I mean. Nauseous every night (not morning) and it gets kind of bad. That just started 2-3 nights ago.

If anyone has any words to offer, I’d appreciate more than you know ❤️especially if they’re encouraging or positive!

Below are some tests from the other night.
